Fox’s ‘Wayward Pines’ Renewed For Second Season, Chad Hodge Out As Showrunner
Several months after the limited series wrapped its run, Fox has handed out a second season renewal to Wayward Pines, TVWise has learned. Ten episodes have been ordered for the show's second season, which is set to air next Summer. 
Showtime is sticking with two of their most critically acclaimed series. The premium cable network has handed out renewals to counter-terrorism drama Homeland and critical darling The Affair, TVWise has learned. Homeland will return for a sixth season, while The Affair will be back for its third season.
BBC One has released a trailer for their half-hour Stick Man adaptation, which is set to premiere on Christmas Day (Friday December 25th) at 4:45pm.
Amazon Prime Instant Video's newest original drama series Mad Dogs will premiere on the streaming service in the US, the UK, Germany and Austria on Friday January 22nd, TVWise has learned.
BBC One has released the first trailer for their upcoming three-part Agatha Christie adaptation And Then There Were None, which is set to premiere on Boxing Day (Saturday December 26th) at 9pm, with the remaining two parts airing on Sunday December 27th and Monday December 28th in the same time-slot. 
BBC Two has given the green-light to Upstart Crow, a six episode William Shakespeare comedy from The Thin Blue Line and The Wright Way creator Ben Elton which has David Mitchell (Ambassadors, Peep Show) attached to to star.
