BBC Two has renewed their period gangster drama Peaky Blinders for an additional two seasons, TVWise has learned. Elsewhere, the channel has also given the green-light to The Boy With The Topknot, an adaptation of the memoir of the same name by Sathnam Sanghera.

FX has handed out a two season renewal to their critically acclaimed Cold War spy drama The Americans, TVWise has learned. The network has ordered thirteen episodes for season five, and a further ten episodes for the sixth season, which will be the show's last.
