Netflix Sets UK Premiere Date For ‘Power’ Season 3
The third season of Starz's original drama series Power will premiere on Netflix UK on Monday July 18th, it has been announced. New episodes will then continue to be made available to Netflix UK subscribers every Monday, less than 24 hours after they air on premium cable network Starz in the United States. 
Freida Pinto (Slumdog Millionaire) has been set as the female lead in Guerrilla, Sky Atlantic and Showtime's six episode co-production about a couple's path from political activism to radical militancy, TVWise has learned.
FOX UK has acquired Australian psychological thriller Wolf Creek, starring John Jarratt and Lucy Fry, after striking a deal with international distributor Zodiak Rights, TVWise has learned. The six episode series will premiere on FOX UK on Tuesday August 30th at 10pm.
After a months long search to replace Poly Hill, the BBC has poached Channel 4's Head of Drama Piers Wenger to serve as their new Controller of Drama Commissioning, TVWise has learned. Meanwhile, over at Channel 4, the broadcaster has tapped Wenger's number two, Deputy Head of Drama Beth Willis, to succeed him as their Head of Drama when he departs later this year.
Freeform has renewed their multi-camera comedy series Baby Daddy for a sixth season, TVWise has learned. While no formal episode order has been set, the network said the pick-up meant that by the end of season six more than 100 episodes will have been produced.
AMC Global has picked up the exclusive first run UK broadcast rights to The Terror, the ten episode anthology drama based on the novel by Dan Simmons that was recently green-lit by the US AMC network, after striking a deal with sister company AMC Studios, TVWise has learned.
