‘Tomiwa Edun, Lisa Hammond, Josef Davies & More Join ‘Young Wallander’ Season 2
‘Tomiwa Edun (Merlin), Lisa Hammond (EastEnders), Josef Davies (The King), Lewis Mackinnon (Doctors) and Kim Adis (Get Even) have joined the cast of Wallander prequel Young Wallander for its upcoming second season, which is set to premiere in 2022. 
The fourth and final season of Atypical will receive its UK premiere on Netflix UK on Friday July 9th, it has been announced. 
Jill Halfpenny (The Drowning, Liar) and Owen McDonnell (Killing Eve, The Bay) have been set as the leads in The Holiday, Channel 5's four-part adaptation of the T.M. Logan novel. Rounding out the cast is Aidan McArdle (The Trial Of Christine Keeler, The Mallorca Files), Liv Mjönes (Midsommar, The Lawyer), Siobhan Hewlett (McDonald & Dodds, The Syndicate), Andrew Macklin (Doctor Who, Fair City) and Cat Simmons (Holby City, Moving On).
BBC Studios has struck a deal with Disney that will see the House of Mouse premiere the third season of Bluey on Disney Channel, Disney Junior and Disney+ in all territories excluding Australia, New Zealand and China. The series also airs in the UK on CBeebies, where it has been a ratings hit.
BritBox has commissioned their first global original series. The streaming service's UK and North American divisions have co-commissioned Murder In Provence, a three episode mystery series based on the books by M.L. Longworth. The Thick Of It and Endeavour alum Roger Allam is attached to star.
Whiskey Cavalier is crossing the pond. UKTV's Alibi channel has acquired the UK rights to ABC's short-lived drama series after striking a deal with international distributor Warner Bros. International Television Distribution. Alibi has yet to set a specific date, but it is expected to premiere in July. Additionally, Alibi has also acquired both The Good Wife and Deception for their July schedule. The Good Wife initially aired in the UK on More4 while Deception has never aired on this side of the pond before.
The second season of Prodigal Son will receive its UK premiere on Sky One on Wednesday June 9th at 9pm, it has been announced.
