Camryn Manheim, best known to UK audiences for her 8 season run as Boston attorney Ellenor Frutt on David E. Kelley's legal series The Practice, has joined TNT's flagship drama series Major Crimes for a multi-episode arc. 
UKTV is continuing their aggressive originals push with four new series for Dave, Gold and flagship entertainment channel W. The announcement was made today at the company's UKTV Live event at BFI. The new commissions include Lizard Lick Touring, a new ten parter featuring Lizard Lick Towing star Ron Shirley for Dave; We Have Been Watching, a Gogglebox-like format for Gold; Used Car Wars, a factual entertainment series for Dave which is set in the world of second hand car sales; and Dr Christian Will See You, a new series featuring Dr Christian Jessen for W. 
Joy Of Techs, a half-hour tech format fronted by real-life friends Marcus Brigstocke and Alexis Conran, has been been picked up to series by UKTV's Dave channel with a ten episode order, TVWise has learned. The series is set to premiere in 2017. 
The eighteenth season of NBC's drama series Law & Order: Special Victims Unit will receive its UK premiere on Universal Channel on Sunday October 16th at 10pm, it has been announced. 
The second season of biker gang drama Gangland Undercover will receive its UK premiere on History UK on Tuesday October 11th at 10pm, it has been announced. 
The second season of NBC's drama series Chicago Med will receive its UK premiere on Universal Channel on Sunday October 23rd at 9pm, it has been announced. 
Georgina Campbell, who is currently starring in BBC One's four-part drama One Of Us (pictured, right), has been tapped to play the female lead in Syfy's Superman prequel pilot Krypton. She will play Lyta Zod, a member of Krypton’s military caste and the daughter of General Alura Zod. Lyta is a cadet in the caste and has been having a secret, forbidden romance with the as-yet uncast Seg-El.
