Kudos’ Joanna Strevens Joins Carnival Films As Head Of Development
Kudos exec Joanna Strevens is joining Carnival Films - the NBCU owned indie behind ITV's hit Downton Abbey - as their new Head of Development.
Strevens will be responsible for overseeing Carnival's development activity. She will report directly to Managing Director Gareth Neame. “I’m extremely excited to be joining such a remarkable team at Carnival, who have a very well-deserved reputation for producing internationally renowned scripted series”, she said. 
Netflix has dropped a trailer for the upcoming second season of their Full House spin-off Fuller House, which premieres globally on the streaming service on Friday December 9th. 
And the title for the Good Wife spin-off is... The Good Fight. CBS just announced the title for the new series as production on the ten episode first season is getting underway in New York City for a February 2017 premiere on the network, before it moves to streaming service CBS All Access for the remainder of its run. Additionally, Justified star Erica Tazel is joining the cast as a series regular.
Fox's DC drama Lucifer is getting a full run in its second season. The network has handed out a back nine order to the show, bringing the total number of episodes ordered for season two to twenty-two. 
BBC Two's one-off Zadie Smith adaptation NW will premiere on Monday November 14th at 9pm, it has been announced. 
Freeform's half-hour comedy series Young & Hungry will receive its UK premiere on E4 on Monday November 14th at 4pm with a double-bill, it has been announced. 
Fox Networks Group (FNG) has promoted Prentiss Fraser to the position of Managing Director of Content Distribution. In the new role, Fraser will oversee the FNG Content Distribution Division which has in-territory sales teams and centrally based sales servicing departments in over 16 offices around the world.
