Viceland UK is adding to their comedy line-up. The Vice backed channel has struck a deal with international distributor Endemol Shine International to acquire FX's animated spy comedy Archer, TVWise has confirmed. The deal between the two companies gives Viceland exclusive UK TV rights to the show's first five seasons. 
AMC Global - the AMC branded channel here in the UK, which is available exclusively to BT TV customers - has released the key art for the upcoming third season of The Walking Dead spin-off Fear The Walking Dead. 
After months of prolonged negotiations, Fox has officially pulled the trigger and renewed The X-Files for an eleventh season. The network has opted for a longer run for this second revival season, ordering ten episodes, up from the six that comprised season ten. TVWise reported late last year that the increased order was a key objective for senior Fox execs, who were eyeing the new season for a spot of the 2017-2018 schedule. 
UKTV has had another good year. The multi-channel broadcaster, which is a joint venture between BBC Worldwide and Scripps Networks Interactive, has seen its profits (EBITDA) surge by some 8% to £91 million, from revenues of £345 million. Likewise, the broadcasters share of commercial impacts grew to 9.85%, placing them behind only ITV. The ratings and SOCI growth was driven largely by their mix of exclusive and original content, such as their USA Network import Suits on Dave. 
The twelfth season of FXX's comedy series It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia will receive its UK premiere on Netflix UK on Sunday May 7th, when all ten episodes will be available to stream, it has been announced. 
The second season of animated series F Is For Family will premiere on Netflix UK on Tuesday May 30th, it has been announced. 
Comedy Central's original comedy series Idiotsitter will premiere on 5Star on Sunday April 30th at 11:30pm, it has been announced.
