Netflix Renews ‘Fuller House’ For Fourth Season

Netflix has handed out a fourth season renewal to their Full House spin-off Fuller House. The renewal comes one month after the back half of the show's third season dropped on the streaming service. No word on the size of the order for season four. Netflix UK carries the series on this side of the pond.

Universal Channel Sets UK Premiere Date For ‘Gone’

Universal Channel's new acquisition Gone will receive its UK premiere on Monday March 19th at 9pm, it has been announced. Gone tells the story of Kit “Kick” Lanigan, the survivor of a famous child-abduction case, and Frank Novak, the FBI agent who rescued her. Determined never to fall victim again, as an adult Kick has trained herself in martial arts and the use of firearms. She finds her calling when Novak persuades her to join a special task force dedicated to solving abductions and missing persons’ cases.

Universal Channel Acquires Fox’s Medical Drama ‘The Resident’

Universal Channel has sealed a deal with Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution to acquire the exclusive first run UK broadcast rights to Fox's Matt Czuchry (The Good Wife) and Emily VanCamp (Revenge) fronted medical drama The Resident. The series is presently eyed for an April premiere.

5USA Acquires CBS’ ‘Training Day’ Reboot & NBC’s ‘Taken’

5USA is adding two U.S. scripted dramas to their slate. The Channel 5 owned digi-net has agreed separate deals with Warner Bros. International Television Distribution and NBCUniversal Television Distribution for first run rights to CBS' short-lived Training Day reboot and free-to-air rights to NBC's Taken prequel series.
