E4 Sets UK Premiere Date For ‘Kevin Can Wait’ Season 2

The second and final season of Kevin Can Wait will receive its UK premiere on E4 on Monday June 11th at 7:30pm and will the continue to air daily in the same time-slot, it has been announced.

BBC One Renews ‘The Split’ For Second Season

BBC One has renewed Abi Morgan's divorce lawyers drama The Split for a second season. The renewal announcement came immediately following last night's season one finale. “It’s a delight and a privilege to bring The Split back for series two and to submerge myself once more into the world of Noble, Hale and Defoe and the lives of Hannah and her sisters", Morgan said. "Thank you to the BBC and the enthusiasm of viewers and we look forward to seeing you in 2019.”

VIMN & Virgin Media Team Together To Bring Nick Play VOD App To UK

Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) and Virgin Media have pacted together to bring the Nick Play mobile streaming app to the UK. As of today, Virgin Media customers who subscribe to Nickelodeon channels, will have free access to the Nick Play VOD mobile app.

BBC Two Acquires UK Rights To Australian Drama ‘Picnic At Hanging Rock’

Picnic At Hanging Rock is coming to the UK.  BBC Two has secured the UK rights to the six episode Australian drama starring Natalie Dormer (Game Of Thrones) after striking a deal with international distributor FremantleMedia International. The series will premiere on BBC Two later this year.

TCB Media Rights Hires Hannah Demidowicz For Commissioning Editor Role

In what is thought to be a first for a factual distributor, TCB Media Rights has hired Hannah Demidowicz to serve in the newly created role of Commissioning Editor. Her appointment reflects TCB's evolution from a mere distribution company to aso being mini-commissioner. This past year the company green-lit 50 hours of self-funded and co-developed projects to sit alongside acquired content on their distribution slate. They intend maintain or increase that total over the next two years.
