Sky One Acquires CBS’ ‘Magnum P.I.’ Reboot, Eyes January Premiere

Thomas Magnum is heading to the UK. Sky One has secured the exclusive UK rights to CBS' Magnum P.I. reboot after striking a deal with international distributor NBCUniversal International Distribution. The series, which was recently picked up state-side for a full season, is presently eyed for a January premiere.

Bandicoot Secures Two Season Order For ‘Test Drive’

Derek McLean and Daniel Nettleton's Argonon backed production company Bandicoot has secured a two season order from BBC Scotland for Test Drive, a car-based game-show fronted by Scottish wrestler Grado. Both seasons will consist of eight episodes. The series sees three teams of two go on a road trip through some of Scotland’s most beautiful landscapes en route to a mystery destination – with the Satnav asking the questions and their answers dictating whether they take the short route or the long way round.

History UK Acquires A&E’s ‘The Clinton Affair’, Sets December Premiere

The Clinton Affair is crossing the pond. History UK has secured the UK rights to A&E's six-episode Clinton impeachment documentary series from sister company A+E Networks. The series will receive its UK premiere on History UK on Saturday December 8th at 9pm with a double-bill.

BBC Three has set to the cast for Back To Life. Geraldine James (Sherlock Holmes), Adeel Akhtar (Murdered By My Father), Richard Durden (Harlots), Jamie Michie (Game of Thrones), Liam Williams (Pls Like), Souad Faress (Bridget Jones’s Baby), Jo Martin (Been So Long), Christine Bottomley (The End of the F***ing World) and Frank Feys (A Perfect Day) are all set to star opposite Daisy Haggard (Episodes) in the six episode comedy drama that she co-created with Laura Solon.

Netflix’s ‘The Good Cop’ Cancelled After One Season

Tony Danza's TV return turned out be rather short-lived. Netflix has cancelled their comedy-drama series The Good Cop, starring the former Taxi star, after a single season. The show's first (and now only) ten episode season launched globally on Netflix back in September.
