Fiona Bruce Confirmed As New ‘Question Time’ Host

BBC News and former Crimewatch presenter Fiona Bruce has been officially confirmed as the next host of Question Time. She succeeds David Dimbleby, who earlier this year announced he was stepping down as host after some 25 years. Fiona Bruce will take over as host on January 10th, 2019. Bruce was selected as the new host following an extensive search. The selection process for the role included candidates each hosting a pilot episode of the programme, including panellists and a live audience. Word that she had been picked as the new host first leaked in late-November.

ITV Orders Parachute Regiment Documentary Series ‘Men Of War’

ITV has ordered The Paras: Men Of War, a documentary series about the Parachute Regiment and what it takes to turn raw recruits into elite soldiers trained to kill. The three-part series is set to premiere in 2019.

Back2Back Secures Renewals For ‘Scrap Kings’ & ‘The World’s Deadliest…’

Good news for Back2Back. The Brighton-based indie has secured renewals for two of their productions: Scrap Kings for Quest, international media company Viasat World and Germany’s ProSieben; and The World's Deadliest for 5Spike and Australia’s Seven Network. Twenty episodes have been commissioned for Scrap Kings season two, while The World's Deadliest... has received an order for 13 episodes for its third season.
