Happy Films’ ‘Bookaboo’ Scores First International Format Sale

Happy Films has secured their first international format sale for pre-school kids series Bookaboo. The indie has sold the format rights to Russian children’s content production company StoryTime, who in turn secured a series order from Carousel and SVOD service START.

Tom Nash Joins The Ink Factory As Executive Producer

Tom Nash (Deep State) is joining indie The Ink Factory as Executive Producer. In the role, Nash will will help create and produce both theatrical films and scripted series. He will also oversee physical production on a number of titles across The Ink Factory’s slate.

Amazon Prime Video Sets UK Premiere Date For ‘Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger’ Season 2

The second season of Marvel's Cloak & Dagger will receive its UK premiere on Friday April 5th, it has been announced. New episodes will continue to be made available every Friday, less than 24 hours after they initially air on Freeform in the United States, through to the season finale in late May.

UKTV Split Up Confirmed, Marcus Arthur Replaces Darren Childs As CEO

As has been rumoured for months, UKTV as it presently exists is being split up. Owners Discovery and BBC Studios have reached a deal that will see Discovery take control of Good Food, Home and Really, while BBC Studios assumes full ownership of Alibi, Dave, Drama, Eden, Gold, Yesterday and W. When the deal closes, BBC Studios' Marcus Arthur will replace Darren Childs as UKTV's CEO.
