It's officially the end of the road for Wrecked. TBS has cancelled the half-hour deserted-island comedy after airing three ten-episode seasons. The writing had been on the wall from some time, with TBS having been silent on the show's fate since season three wrapped its run last October.

‘Santa Clarita Diet’ Cancelled At Netflix

Netflix has cancelled their horror-comedy series Santa Clarita Diet. The cancellation comes less than a month after the show's third season was released globally on the streaming service. The cancellation fits into a recent pattern at Netflix. The streaming service has been pulling the plug on series after three seasons, due in large part to the way their deals are structured. Only hits or shows picked up with a huge commitment (such as The Crown) tend to go beyond three seasons.

Shannen Doherty (Charmed, Heathers) has signed on to star in Fox's upcoming Beverly Hills, 90210 event series BH90210 (formerly known as 90210). BH90210 is not a traditional revival in the vein of Will & Grace or The X-Files. Instead of it being a continuation of Beverly Hills, 90210 itself, it's a serialised drama that sees the original cast playing heightened versions of themselves and is inspired by their real lives and relationships with each other.
