Guy Pearce (Mary Queen of Scots) has been set as the lead in BBC One's Charles Dickens adaptation A Christmas Carol. The three-part adaptation, which hails from Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight, was originally commissioned back in 2017 as one of a number of Dickens adaptions from Knight.
