Well here's a timely commission. UKTV's W channel has handed out a four episode series order to My Famous Babysitter. Rachel Riley has been set as the first celebrity babysitter for the series. “I’m really up for the babysitter challenge: I’m sure they’ll teach me a lot. I’m scared and excited in equal measure!”, she said.
Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden has joined the cast of ITV2's ancient Rome comedy Plebs for its upcoming fifth season, which is now filming in Bulgaria ahead of a late 2019 premiere. Holden, who recently returned to acting with a recurring role on The Worst Witch, will play Rufina, a lusty aristocrat at a banquet, who sets her sights on Jason, the gatecrashing pleb, making him her plaything for the evening.
Mere hours after the show's second season launched on the channel, Sky Atlantic has picked up their Julia Stiles fronted drama series Riviera for a third season. In addition to starring, Stile will now serve as an executive producer on Riviera as of the third season. Eight episodes have been commissioned for season three.
