Dave Renews ‘Hypothetical’ For Second Season

UKTV's Dave channel has handed out a second season renewal to Hypothetical. The comedy series fronted by Josh Widdicombe and James Acaster will return with a further eight episodes in 2020. The formal green-light for season two comes after the show's first season, which aired on Dave earlier this year, reached a total audience of 4.5 million viewers. It was also one of UKTV Play’s most popular shows of 2019.

UKTV’s Gold Channel Orders Morecambe & Wise Retrospective Fronted By Sir Lenny Henry

UKTV's Gold channel has given the green-light to Trust Morecambe & Wise, a four episode retrospective series presented by Sir Lenny Henry. Trust Morecambe & Wise will take a look at rarely seen footage featuring the immortal duo at the peak of their careers. It will be filmed in front of a live studio audience and include contributions from comic guests and some of the duo’s much-loved co-stars.

Here's the good news for Will & Grace fans - the show's tenth season (aka the second season of the revival) is coming to the UK. With no sign of a broadcast on Channel 5, NBCUniversal is now looking at going direct-to-consumer. Their home entertainment division is preparing to release the tenth season on DVD this summer and they recently submitted the set to BBFC for classification.

ITV Renews ‘Cold Feet’ For Ninth Season

Cold Feet is coming back for another run. ITV has renewed the comedy drama for a ninth season. Six episodes have been ordered for season nine, which is expected to start filming in Manchester later this year ahead of a 2020 premiere.
