New Amsterdam is getting a second UK home. Channel 4's digi-net More4 has acquired the linear rights to the Ryan Eggold fronted medical drama. NBCUniversal International Distribution handles global sales. The show's first season is expected to premiere on the channel later this month. 
The better part of a year after word of the casting first leaked out, Netflix has confirmed that Gillian Anderson (The X-Files, The Fall) has joined the cast of The Crown for its upcoming fourth season. She will play Margaret Thatcher, who served as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom between 1979 and 1990.

However, when a very real murder is committed on stage in front of everyone during an unplanned blackout, Aurora’s nephew Phillip becomes the prime suspect when the lights come back up and he is found holding the murder weapon, a bloody knife.
