Gemma Arterton Set As Lead In BBC One’s ‘Black Narcissus’
Gemma Arterton (The King’s Man, The Escape) has been set as the lead in Black Narcissus, BBC One's three-part adaptation of Rumer Godden’s novel of the same name. Rounding out the cast is Alessandro Nivola, Aisling Franciosi, Dame Diana Rigg, Jim Broadbent, Gina McKee, Rosie Cavaliero, Patsy Ferran, Karen Bryson, Dipika Kunwar. 
Channel 5 has ordered two follow ups to last year's Agatha & The Truth & Murder. The two new feature-length dramas, inspired by the life of Agatha Christie, are Agatha And The Curse Of Ishtar and Agatha And The Death Of X. It is not immediately clear if Ruth Bradley (Humans) will reprise her role as Agatha Christie.
The second season of Britannia will premiere on Sky Atlantic on Thursday November 7th at 9pm, it has been announced. The complete second season will be available on-demand on the same day.
The Feed will premiere on Virgin TV Ultra HD on Monday September 16th at 9pm, it has been announced. From The Walking Dead's Channing Powell, The Feed follows the Hatfield family, famed for Lawrence’s invention of The Feed – a high-tech brain implant which allows people to instantly share thoughts, memories and emotions – and explores the complex and dramatic relationship between the eldest son Tom, his family and the invasive and terrifying technology they’ve sold to the world.
Romantic comedy series Modern Love will premiere on Amazon Prime Video UK on Friday October 18th, it has been announced. Inspired by the popular New York Times column of the same name, Modern Love is a half-hour romantic comedy series exploring love in all of its complicated and beautiful forms, as each standalone episode brings some of the column’s most beloved stories to life with a stellar cast. It is produced by Amazon Studios, Storied Media Group and The New York Times. 
The second season of Mary Kills People will receive its UK premiere on More4 on Wednesday September 25th at 00:10am, it has been announced.
