BBC One has released the trailer for their anticipated The War Of The Worlds adaptation, which is set to premiere this autumn. The War Of The Worlds is set in Edwardian England and follows follows George and his partner Amy as they attempt to defy society and start a life together. It tells their story as they face the escalating terror of an alien invasion, fighting for their lives against an enemy beyond their comprehension.

Channel 5 has handed out renewals to Around The World By Train With Tony Robinson and Britain's Lost Railways. Both series will return for six episode second seasons.
