ITV has released a first look image of David Tennant in character as serial killer Dennis Nilsen in their just announced three-part drama Des. The three-parter tells the story of Nilsen, who murdered boys and young men in his flat from 1978 to 1983. He was undetected for five years, and it was only when DCI Peter Jay was called to 23 Cranley Gardens on 9 February, 1983, to investigate human fragments of flesh and bone clogging the drains, that the police realised they had a serial killer on their hands.
Goran Višnjić (ER, Timeless) and Robert Glenister (Cold Feet, Curfew) have been tapped for guest starring roles in the upcoming twelfth season of Doctor Who, which is set to premiere in early 2020.
It's one and done for Derren Litten's Scarborough. BBC One has cancelled the half-hour comedy series after a single six-episode season, TVWise has confirmed. "We are very proud of Scarborough and would like to thank Derren and the team for all their hard work on the series.”
ITV has ordered Des, a three-part drama about the arrest and trial of serial killer Dennis "Des" Nilsen. David Tennant (Broadchurch, Good Omens) is attached to star in the lead role as Des.
