Syfy UK has acquired the UK rights to CBS' latest summer drama Blood & Treasure after striking a deal with international distributor CBS Studios International. Around The World In 80 Days has found a UK broadcaster. Less than 24 hours after former Doctor Who star David Tennant was confirmed to lead the cast, the BBC has acquired the UK rights to the Jules Verne adaptation from Slim Film + Television and Federation Entertainment. No word on whether it will air on BBC One or BBC Two.
