Channel 4 Acquires Fox’s Animated Comedy ‘Duncanville’
Channel 4 has acquired the UK rights to Fox's upcoming animated comedy series Duncanville. The series is distributed internationally by NBCUniversal International Distribution. It will initially air on Channel 4 later this year, and will also get a repeat run on E4. 
After months of rumours, Batwoman has found a UK home. E4 has secured the UK rights to the latest Arrowverse show in a deal with Warner Bros. International Television Distribution. E4 parent Channel 4 said that the series would premiere on the channel in 2020. In addition to Batwoman, this deal with WBITD also gives E4 UK rights to DC Universe's animated Harley Quinn series.
Mere weeks after they launched the show's first season, BBC Three has secured the UK rights to the second season of Hulu's comedy series Shrill from international distributor Warner Bros. International Television Distribution. The show's second season will be available to stream on BBC Three (via the iPlayer) from Saturday January 25th, less than 24 hours behind the U.S. premiere on Hulu.
The third season of Westworld will receive its UK premiere on Sky Atlantic on Monday March 16th at 2am, simulcast with HBO’s east-coast feed. The season premiere will also be repeated later that same day in the show’s regular 9pm time-slot.
The fourth season of Van Helsing will receive its UK premiere on Netflix UK on Saturday February 8th, it has been announced.
Marblemedia has optioned the rights to M.G. Hennessey’s best selling novel The Other Boy with plans to adapt it for TV as a light comedic drama series. Hennessey is on-board to serve as a consultant for the adaptation. This marks the first in a series of upcoming projects from Marblemedia's growing scripted division.
Channel 4 has has handed out a six episode series order to Chivalry, a comedy drama created by and starring Sarah Solemani and Steve Coogan that satirises the state of contemporary sexual politics, while asking if romance can survive in the post #MeToo era. Baby Cow Productions are producing.
ITV has set the cast for Unforgotten. Sheila Hancock (Delicious), Susan Lynch (Apple Tree Yard), Phaldut Sharma (EastEnders), Liz White (Ackley Bridge), Andy Nyman (Peaky Blinders), Clare Calbraith (Little Boy Blue) and Lucy Speed (Marcella) have been tapped to star opposite main cast members Nicola Walker and Sanjeev Bhaskar in the show's fourth season.
