Big Light Productions is getting a new COO. Frank Spotntiz's production company has hired Chris Sutherland to serve in the role. He replaces Oliver Lang, who is stepping down at the end of the month to focus on his creative industries’ advisory business, Sharp Edge Media.

BBC One has ordered The Following Events Are Based On A Pack Of Lies, a six episode con-artist thriller from sibling writing duo Penelope Skinner and Ginny Skinner. 
UKTV's Alibi channel has secured the UK rights to Canadian drama series Hudson & Rex after striking a deal with international distributor Beta Film. The deal was brokered by UKTV's Acquisitions Manager Charlie Charalambous. The series is expected to premiere on Alibi later this year. 
The second season of Harlots will premiere on BBC Two on Wednesday September 2nd at 9pm with a double-bill, it has been announced. 
The fourth season of The Crown will premiere on Netflix UK on Sunday November 15th, it has been announced. 
National Geographic's Mercury 7 miniseries The Right Stuff will receive its UK premiere on Disney+ on Friday October 9th, when the first two episodes will be available to stream. Alongside announcing the premiere date, Disney+ has also released the trailer and key art for the series.
