'Castle' will be returning for an eight season with Stana Katic and Nathan Fillion on-board; CBS is set to renew 'CSI: Crime Scene Investigation' for a shortened sixteenth and final season; while ABC is set to cancel Marvel's Agent Carter in favour of the proposed SHIELD spin-off.

Original series writers James Wong (American Horror Story) and Glen Morgan (BBC America's Intruders) have signed on to help script the six episode limited series revival, TVWise has confirmed. The duo are also set to direct one episode apiece, while Glen Morgan will also serve as an executive producer.

Lifetime Acquires UK Rights To ‘UnREAL’, Eyes Summer Premiere

EXCLUSIVE: Lifetime UK has acquired the exclusive first run UK broadcast rights to drama series UnREAL after striking a deal with A+E Studios International. The 10 episode scripted drama, which is produced for the US Lifetime network, will premiere on Lifetime UK this Summer.

History UK has closed a deal with A+E Studios International to acquire the exclusive first run UK broadcast rights to miniseries Sons Of Liberty, which tells the story of the American Revolutionary War and features a cast that includes Breaking Bad's Dean Norris. The six-hour mini will premiere on History UK this June.
