Channel 4 Acquires ‘The West Wing’ For All 4

With the U.S. election mere weeks away, Channel 4 has opted to bring the seminal U.S. political drama back to our screens. The broadcaster has struck a deal with Warner Bros. to pick up all seven seasons of The West Wing for their streaming service All 4. It will be available to stream as of Wednesday October 21st. The deal between Warner Bros. and Channel 4 also gives the broadcaster streaming rights to all nine seasons of The WB/The CW teen drama One Tree Hill. One Tree Hill will be available to stream from Friday October 30th.

‘What We Do In The Shadows’ Included Among Package Of More Than 100 Films Acquired By W4Free

W4Free has inked deals with Trinity Creative Partnership, 101 Films and Central City Media for a package of more than 100 films. Included among the package is the 2014 vampire comedy film What We Do In The Shadows, starring Jermaine Clement and Taika Waititi. The film was the inspiration behind the FX comedy series of the same name (pictured) that airs on this side of the pond on BBC Two.

Syfy UK Acquires CBC’s ‘Trickster’ In Deal With Abacus Media Rights

Syfy UK has secured the UK rights to CBC's supernatural mystery series Trickster after striking a deal with international distributor Abacus Media Rights. The series is based on the novel Son of a Trickster by Eden Robinson. No word just yet on a premiere date.

My5 Acquires UK Rights To E!’s ‘The Arrangement’

My5 has acquired the UK rights to E!'s short-lived drama series The Arrangement, TVWise has learned. The show's first season is expected to premiere on the Channel 5 owned and operated streaming service later this year.

BBC One Acquires UK Rights To HBO Max’s ‘Love Life’

The BBC has acquired the UK Rights to HBO Max's Anna Kendrick fronted romantic comedy anthology series Love Life after striking a deal with international distributor Lionsgate Television. The series will premiere later this year on BBC One. It will also be available as a box set on the iPlayer.

FOX Acquires UK Rights To ‘Take Two’, Sets October Premiere

FOX UK has acquired the UK rights to Take Two, ABC's short-lived drama series from Castle executive producers Terri Edda Miller and Andrew W. Marlowe. The series will premiere on Sunday October 4th at 8pm.
