ITV Encore has closed a deal with Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution to acquire the exclusive UK broadcast rights to FX's Cold War era spy drama The Americans, TVWise has learned. Channel 5 Acquires Spike’s Event Series ‘Tut’
Less than 24 hours after ITV announced plans to produce miniseries Tutankhamun, Channel 5 has acquired the exclusive first run UK broadcast rights to Tut, the six-hour Ben Kingsley fronted event series which is being produced for the US Spike network. The series will debut on Channel 5 this Summer.
