Comedy Central Acquires UK Rights To ‘Undateable’ & ‘Bob’s Burgers’

Comedy Central UK is adding two US sitcoms to their line-up. The VIMN backed broadcaster has closed a deal with Warner Bros. International Television Distribution to acquire the exclusive first run UK broadcast rights to NBC's Undateable. In addition, Comedy Central UK has also inked an agreement with Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution to acquire the UK rights to the third season of Bob's Burgers.

Comedy Central UK Renews ‘Friends’ Deal Through 2019

Comedy Central UK is extending their relationship with Warner Bros. The broadcaster has renewed their licensing deal with the studio's global sales arm Warner Bros. International Television Distribution for Friends. The lucrative new deal for the show runs for four years and ensures that the iconic sitcom will remain on British screens until at least 2019.

E4 Acquires UK Rights To ‘Containment’ & ‘Rush Hour’ In WB Deal

E4 has closed a multi-year deal with Warner Bros International Television Distribution to acquired the exclusive first run UK broadcast rights to The CW's Cordon adaptation Containment and CBS' Rush Hour reboot, TVWise has learned. Both series are expected to premiere on E4 in 2016.

New Fox UK Logo 2015FOX UK is turning to Adult Swim for their renewed push into scripted comedy. The FIC owned and operated channel has inked a deal with Turner Broadcasting System for the exclusive UK broadcast rights to a wide range of Adult Swim content, including Dan Harmon's Rick & Morty and Mr Pickles. The series acquired under this deal will air on Thursday nights from 11pm in a branded Adult Swim block.
