StarzPlay has secured the UK rights to CBS All Access' Stephen King adaptation The Stand after striking a deal with international distributor ViacomCBS Global Distribution Group. The limited series will premiere on the streaming service on Sunday January 3rd. 
FOX UK is adding two U.S. acquisitions to their slate. The Disney backed channel has secured the UK rights to ABC comedy Bless This Mess and A&E's short-lived The Omen sequel Damien. Bless This Mess will premiere on Wednesday January 6th at 9pm, while Damien will premiere on Thursday January 28th at 9pm. 
Transplant is crossing the pond. Sky Witness has secured the UK rights to the Canadian medical drama series after striking a deal with international distributor NBCUniversal Global Distribution. The series will premiere on Tuesday December 15th at 9pm. 
Crossing Swords is crossing the pond. ITV2 has acquired the exclusive UK rights to the Hulu animated comedy series after striking a deal with international distributor Sony Pictures Television. The show's first season will receive its UK premiere on ITV2 on Monday November 23rd at 10pm. 
Another one-and-done is crossing the pond. UKTV's Alibi has secured the UK rights to the short-lived USA Network drama series Briarpatch after striking a deal with international distributor NBCUniversal Global Distribution. The series is expected to air on Alibi in 2021. 
Acorn TV has acquired the UK rights to Australian comedy drama series Operation Buffalo after striking a deal with international distributor About Premium Content (APC). No word just yet on a premiere date. 
Outmatched is crossing the pond. FOX UK has acquired the short-lived comedy series after striking a deal with international distributor Disney Media Distribution. The series will premiere on the channel on Thursday December 10th at 9pm with a double-bill. 
My Life Is Murder is switching UK broadcasters. Acorn TV will be the exclusive UK home to the show's just ordered second season after the streaming service boarded the production as a co-producer. UKTV's Alibi channel had served as the UK broadcaster for the show's first season.
