FOX UK has acquired Australian psychological thriller Wolf Creek, starring John Jarratt and Lucy Fry, after striking a deal with international distributor Zodiak Rights, TVWise has learned. The six episode series will premiere on FOX UK on Tuesday August 30th at 10pm. 
AMC Global has picked up the exclusive first run UK broadcast rights to The Terror, the ten episode anthology drama based on the novel by Dan Simmons that was recently green-lit by the US AMC network, after striking a deal with sister company AMC Studios, TVWise has learned. 
Netflix UK has acquired the first window UK broadcast rights to the upcoming seventh season of Freeform's flagship drama series Pretty Little Liars from Warner Bros. International Television Distribution, TVWise has learned. The season seven premiere will be available to stream on Netflix UK from Wednesday June 22nd. 
In what is the first deal to emerge from the recent LA Screenings, Amazon Prime Video UK has taken exclusive UK rights to CBS' two new summer series BrainDead and American Gothic after striking a deal with CBS Studios International, TVWise has learned. 
Mr. Robot has secured a second UK broadcaster. Universal Channel has acquired the linear broadcast rights to the USA Network hacker drama in a deal with sister company NBCUniversal Television Distribution, TVWise has learned. The ten episode first season of Mr Robot will debut on Universal Channel on Thursday July 21st at 9pm, with a feature-length episode.
