Last Man Standing is getting yet another UK home. Disney+'s Star brand has secured the SVOD rights to the Tim Allen comedy and will make the first eight seasons of the show available to stream from Wednesday July 28th. Notably, this marks the first time season 8 has aired on this side of the pond. 
Whiskey Cavalier is crossing the pond. UKTV's Alibi channel has acquired the UK rights to ABC's short-lived drama series after striking a deal with international distributor Warner Bros. International Television Distribution. Alibi has yet to set a specific date, but it is expected to premiere in July. Additionally, Alibi has also acquired both The Good Wife and Deception for their July schedule. The Good Wife initially aired in the UK on More4 while Deception has never aired on this side of the pond before. 
Miss Scarlet And The Duke is returning to Alibi. The UKTV owned and operated channel has secured the UK rights to the show's second season after striking a deal with the series new international distributor PBS Distribution. The deal will also see the series air on BBC First in Benelux and BBC Brit in Africa. 
AMC UK has acquired the UK rights to Turn: Washington's Spies after striking a deal with international distributor Entertainment One (eOne). The show's first season will premiere on AMC UK on Monday June 21st at 9pm. 
My Life Is Murder will be returning to Alibi. The UKTV owned and operated channel has secured the linear rights to the show's second season after striking a deal with international distributor DCD Rights. As TVWise previously reported, Acorn TV UK will serve as the first run UK broadcaster for the series going forward after the streaming service boarded the production as a co-producer. 
Disney+'s recently launched general entertainment brand Star has secured the UK rights to Black-ish spin-off Grown-ish and ABC's Erin Brokovich drama Rebel. Grown-ish is set to premiere in April, while Rebel will debut in May. Additionally, Star has announced they have secured the UK rights to a litany of upcoming FX and Hulu series including: American Horror Story spin-off American Horror Stories; Y: The Last Man; The Old Man; Only Murders In The Building; Dopesick; and The Dropout.
