StarzPlay Acquires UK Rights To ‘Doom Patrol’, Sets January 2020 Premiere
Doom Patrol is finally crossing the pond. StarzPlay has secured the UK rights to the Titans spin-off series after striking a deal with Warner Bros. International Television Distribution. The second and final season of CSI: Cyber is finally crossing the pond. CBS Justice, who recently aired the show's first season, have announced plans to air season two in 2020. This would mark the UK TV premiere for the second season after the previous UK broadcaster, Channel 5, opted not air it. CSI: Cyber is distributed internationally by CBS Studios International. Sky Witness has secured the exclusive UK rights to NBC's supernatural drama series The InBetween after striking a deal with sister company NBCUniversal International Distribution. The show's first season will premiere on Monday November 11th at 9pm. Created by Moira Kirland, The InBetween tells the story of Cassie Bedford, who was born with a rare ability. She has visions … whether she likes it or not. Sometimes Cassie sees events that have previously occurred or will happen in the future. In addition, sometimes she encounters unsettled spirits who need her help. E4 Acquires UK Rights To ‘Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist’
E4 has acquired the exclusive UK rights to NBC's musical dramedy series Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist after striking a deal with international distributor Lionsgate Worldwide Television Distribution Group. The acquisition comes mere hours after E4 announced a deal with CBS Studios International for CBS' Matt LeBlanc comedy Man With A Plan and linear rights to Star Trek: Discovery. It also marks only the second new series from the 2019-2019 broadcast season in the United States to land a UK deal, after Sky previously picked up NBC comedy Sunnyside for their soon-to-launch dedicated comedy channel. E4 Inks Deal With CBS Studios International For ‘Man With A Plan’ & ‘Star Trek: Discovery’
E4 has closed a deal with CBS Studios International to acquire the exclusive UK rights to CBS' Matt LeBlanc comedy Man With A Plan. Additionally, the deal also gives the channel the linear rights to Star Trek: Discovery. Both series will premiere on E4 in 2020.
