UKTV’s W Channel Acquires ‘Finding Joy’ In Deal With Acorn Media International
Finding Joy is coming to the UK. UKTV's W channel has acquired the UK rights to the six episode comedy series starring Amy Huberman after striking a deal with international distributor Acorn Media International. The series is expected to premiere on W in early 2020. 

Days Of Our Lives is returning to the UK. Sony Channel has acquired the UK rights to NBC's longest-running drama series in a deal with corporate sibling Sony Pictures Television. Sony Channel is picking up the UK broadcast of Days Of Our Lives with the show's fifty-third season. The UK premiere date has been set for Monday January 20th at 9:10am, with episodes then continuing to air on weekdays in the same time-slot.
Syfy UK has acquired the UK rights to CBS' latest summer drama Blood & Treasure after striking a deal with international distributor CBS Studios International. The series, which has already been renewed for a second season, will receive its UK premiere on Syfy UK on Thursday December 19th at 9pm.
Around The World In 80 Days has found a UK broadcaster. Less than 24 hours after former Doctor Who star David Tennant was confirmed to lead the cast, the BBC has acquired the UK rights to the Jules Verne adaptation from Slim Film + Television and Federation Entertainment. No word on whether it will air on BBC One or BBC Two.
Chicago PD is switching broadcasters here in the UK. Sky Witness has secured the UK rights to the Chicago Fire spin-off, after the previous six seasons all aired on Channel 5's digi-net 5USA. The show's seventh season will receive its UK premiere on Sky Witness on Friday January 3rd at 10pm.
Miss Scarlet And The Duke is coming to the UK. UKTV's Alibi channel has secured the UK rights to the period drama about the first ever-female detective in 19th century London after striking a deal with international distributor A+E Networks International. No word on a premiere date.
