BBC One has set a premiere date for the second season of The Split, with Abi Morgan’s family-law drama returning on Tuesday February 11th at 9pm.
The series centres on the Defoes, a family of London divorce lawyers, led by Nicola Walker as eldest sister Hannah. Having left the family firm in the first season, Hannah and her relatives are now thrown back together at a newly merged practice, Noble, Hale & Defoe, where former rivals suddenly find themselves working side by side.
At home, Hannah is still caught between trying to repair her marriage to Nathan, played by Stephen Mangan, and her feelings for colleague Christie (Barry Atsma). Annabel Scholey, Fiona Button and Deborah Findlay return as sisters Nina and Rose and the family matriarch Ruth.
