The twelfth season of Doctor Who will premiere on BBC One on New Year’s Day (Wednesday January 1st) at 6:55pm, with subsequent episodes airing on Sundays, it has been announced.
Doctor Who is produced by BBC Studios and stars Jodie Whittaker, Bradley Walsh, Tosin Cole and Mandip Gill. BBC America co-produces for the U.S. market. Chris Chibnall is the showrunner and serves as executive producer alongside Matt Strevens.
Few details have been released about season twelve, other than that The Judoon are set to return. As TVWise previously reported, Stephen Fry and Sir Lenny Henry are set to appear in guest starring roles in the twelfth season premiere. Other recently confirmed guest stars for the new season include Goran Višnjić (ER, Timeless) and Robert Glenister (Cold Feet, Curfew).
