Sky One Sets Premiere Date For ‘Intelligence’

Category : News, UK News

Sky One’s spy comedy Intelligence will premiere on Friday February 21st at 9pm with a double-bill, it has been announced.

Intelligence is a workplace comedy based in GCHQ’s Cheltenham office. When a power-hungry, maverick National Security Agent comes over to join an inept and tactless computer analyst and a newly-formed team tackling cybercrime, everything they know is shaken up.

The comedy series, which was created by Nick Mohammed, is produced by Expectation and Dark Harbor Stories and stars Nich Mohammed, David Schwimmer, Sylvestra Le Touzel, Jane Stanness, Gana Bayarsaikhan, Oliver Birch, Eliot Salt and Colin Salmon. The executive producers are Nick Mohammed, David Schwimmer and Nerys Evans. NBCUniversal Global Distribution is handling international sales.

“Intelligence is an absolute peach of a show; genuinely juicy, truly funny and shot through with a chemistry that won’t be top secret for long”, said Sky’s Director of Comedy Jon Mountague, who commissioned the series alongside Director of Programming for Sky Entertainment UK & Ireland Zai Bennett. “Forget Harry and Meghan, David and Nick’s is an Anglo-American relationship for our times. 2020 is going to be an even bigger year for Sky original comedies on Sky One – and they don’t come much more special than this.”
