Netflix Sets UK Premiere Date For ‘It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia’ Season 14

The fourteenth season of FXX’s comedy series It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia will receive its UK premiere on Netflix UK on Sunday January 19th, when all ten episodes will be available to stream, it has been announced.

It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia follows a group of five friends who own and operate Paddy’s Pub in South Philadelphia. Their constant scheming usually lands them in a world of hurt, yet they never seem to learn from their mistakes. The comedy series is produced by FX Productions and stars Rob McElhenney, Glenn Howerton, Charlie Day, Kaitlin Olson and Danny DeVito. It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia was created by Rob McElhenney, whoe serves as executive producer alongside Charlie Day, Michael Rotenberg, Nick Frenkel, Tom Lofaro, David Hornsby, and Megan Ganz.

In the opening episode of the show’s fourteenth season, titled The Gang Gets Romantic, Mac concocts a scheme to attract single women to Airbnb Dennis’ bedroom, while Frank and Charlie concoct similar plans to attract young, European coeds. But neither ad attracts their intended target. Glenn Howerton directed the episode from a scrip by Rob McElhenney and Charlie Day. FXX has yet to renew the series, but FX Networks’ boss John Landgraf recently said: “It’s completely up to them. We will absolutely make more seasons of Sunny if the gang chooses to make more seasons of Sunny”.
