Jetpack Distribution has lined up a slew of deals for Oswaldo, Boj, Yoko and Kazoops across Latin America. The deals all come ahead of MIP Cancun this month.
Oswalso has been sold to Netflix in parts of Latin America. That comes after Jetpack previously licensed the series to: Cartoon Network in Latin America, Italy, the Middle East and Africa; TV Cultura in Brasil; Gulli and Canal J in France; and Disney in South East Asia.
Streaming service Edye, which launched earlier this year in the US and Latin America, has acquired the first seasons of both Boj and Yoko. Additionally, TV Azteca in Mexico has acquired the first season of Kazoops, and Nat Geo Kids in Latin America has acquired the second season of Yoko.
“We are thrilled to find homes in LATAM for these gems! They are top performing shows from our catalogue, with a proven track record of success across the globe”, said Jetpack Distribution’s Sales Director Sophie Prigent. “This is a very important market for Jetpack, and I am excited to be attending MIP Cancun this year and looking forward to bringing more fantastic entertainment to kids and families across the region.”
