FOX UK Acquires ABC’s ‘The Fix’, Sets November Premiere

The Fix is crossing the pond. FOX UK has acquired the UK rights to ABC’s short-lived legal drama after striking a deal with international distributor Disney Media Distribution. The ten episode series will premiere on the channel on Thursday November 28th at 9pm.

The Fix follows Maya Travis, an L.A. district attorney who suffers a devastating defeat when prosecuting an A-list actor for double murder. With her high-profile career derailed, she flees for a quieter life in Washington. Eight years later when this same celebrity is under suspicion for another murder, Maya Travis is lured back to the DA’s office for another chance at justice.

The drama series, which was cancelled by ABC back in May after a single ten episode season, is produced by Mandeville TV and ABC Studios and stars Robin Tunney, Adam Rayner, Merrin Dungey, Breckin Meyer, Marc Blucas, Mouzam Makkar, Alex Saxon, Scott Cohen and Adewale Akinnouye-Agbaje. The Fix was co-written by former OJ Simpson prosecutor Marcia Clark, Liz Craft and Sarah Fain. The executive producers are Elizabeth Craft, Sarah Fain, Marcia Clark, David Hoberman, Todd Lieberman and Laurie Zaks. Larysa Kondracki directed the pilot.
