Sky Witness Sets UK Premiere Date For ‘The Good Doctor’ Season 3

The third season of The Good Doctor will receive its UK premiere on Sky Witness on Tuesday October 15th at 9pm, it has been announced.

The Good Doctor follows Shaun Murphy, a young surgeon with autism and savant syndrome, relocates from a quiet country life to join a prestigious hospital’s surgical unit. The drama series, which hails from House creator David Shore and Hawaii Five-0‘s Daniel Dae Kim, is produced by Sony Pictures Television and ABC Studios and stars Freddie Highmore, Antonia Thomas, Nicholas Gonzalez, Hill Harper, Richard Schiff, Christina Chang, Fiona Gubelmann, Will Yun Lee, Paige Spara and Jasika Nicole.

In the opening episode of the show’s third season, titled Disaster, following what he believes was a disastrous first date with Carly, Dr. Shaun Murphy proposes a radical surgery to save a newlywed woman’s life. Meanwhile, after the new chief of surgery, Dr. Audrey Lim, announces that the residents can lead surgeries, Dr. Morgan Reznick and Dr. Alex Park compete for the chance to operate on an elderly patient who has been diagnosed with cancer. Tamlyn Tomita and Karin Konoval guest star. Mike Listo directed the episode from a script by David Shore.
