The sixth season of Still Open All Hours will premiere on BBC One on Friday October 18th at 8pm, it has been announced.
Still Open All Hours stars Sir David Jason as Granville who some years back inherited the shop from his beloved but miserly Uncle Arkwright. The comedy series is produced by BBC Studios and stars Sir David Jason, James Baxter, Stephanie Cole, Maggie Ollerenshaw, Brigit Forsyth, Tim Healy, Johnny Vegas, Kulvinder Ghir, Sally Lindsay, Geoffrey Whitehead and Katie Redford.
In season six, Eric and Cyril get a little too close to nature trying to impress their wives on a camping trip; Gastric may be ready to die for love of Madge but is he ready to diet?; Mr Newbold’s love life begins a new chapter after meeting Mrs Rossi in the library, but will Mrs Featherstone throw the book at him if she ever finds out?; Madge finally stands up for herself, but will anybody notice?; and Kath stages a jumble sale starring Eric’s favourite clothes. Meanwhile, Leroy is still longing for Beth almost as much as he’s longing for a lie in.
