Netflix Sets UK Premiere Date For ’13 Reasons Why’ Season 3

The third season of 13 Reasons Why will receive its UK premiere on Netflix UK on Friday August 23rd, it has been announced.

13 Reasons Why follows teenager Clay Jensen as he returns home from school to find a mysterious box with his name on it lying on his porch. Inside he discovers cassette tapes recorded by Hannah Baker – his classmate and crush – who tragically committed suicide two weeks earlier.

The drama series is produced by Paramount Television and stars Dylan Minnette, Brandon Flynn, Justin Prentice, Alisha Boe, Christian Navarro, Miles Heizer, Devin Druid, Ross Butler, Timothy Granaderos, Anne Winters, Steven Weber, Brenda Strong, Amy Hargreaves and Grace Saif. The executive producers are Brian Yorkey, Joy Gorman, Mandy Teefey, Kristel Laiblin, and Selena Gomez. Netflix has ordered a fourth and final season.

In the show’s third season, eight months after preventing Tyler from committing an unthinkable act at Spring Fling, Clay, Tony, Jessica, Alex, Justin, and Zach find ways to shoulder the burden of the cover-up together while helping Tyler move toward recovery. But when the aftermath of a tumultuous Homecoming game culminates in the disappearance of a football player, and Clay finds himself under police scrutiny, it’s up to a shrewd outsider to steer the group through an investigation that threatens to lay bare everyone’s deepest secrets.
