E4 Picks Up UK Rights To ‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’ Season 7 & ‘Young Sheldon’ Season 3

Two of E4’s biggest acquisitions are returning to the channel. The Channel 4 owned and operated channel has picked up the UK rights to the seventh season of Brooklyn Nine-Nine and the third season of The Big Bang Theory prequel Young Sheldon.

NBCUniversal International Distribution handles global sales for Brooklyn Nine-Nine, while Warner Bros. International Television Distribution distributes Young SheldonBrooklyn Nine-Nine season seven and Young Sheldon season three are expected to premiere on E4 later this year.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine follows Detective Jake Peralta, a talented, but carefree, detective and his case-cracking colleagues in the 99th precinct of the NYPD. The comedy series stars Andy Samberg, Andre Braugher, Melissa Fumero, Terry Crews, Stephanie Beatriz, Joe Lo Truglio, Chelsea Peretti, Joel McKinnon Miller and Dirk Blocker.

Young Sheldon follows 9-year-old Sheldon Cooper growing up in East Texas. Being a once-in-a generation mind capable of advanced mathematics and science isn’t always helpful in a land where church and football are king. And while the vulnerable, gifted and somewhat naïve young Sheldon deals with the world, his very normal family must find a way to deal with him.
