Syfy UK’s latest acquisition Stargate Atlantis will premiere on Monday July 1st at 8pm and will then continue to air on weekdays in the same time-slot.
Created by Brad Wright and Robert C. Cooper, Stargate Atlantis follows the exploits of the Atlantis Expedition – a team of military and civilian personnel from Earth who set up base in the lost city of Atlantis and explore the Pegasus galaxy.
The drama series is produced by MGM Television and stars Joe Flanigan, Torri Higginson, Rachel Luttrell, Rainbow Sun Francks and David Hewlett. In the opening episode of the show’s first season, titled Rising – Part 1, a new Stargate team embarks on a dangerous mission to a distant galaxy, where they discover a mythical lost city — and a deadly new enemy. Robert Patrick (The X-Files) guest stars.
