ITV’s four-part drama Hatton Garden will premiere on Monday May 20th at 9pm and will then air daily in the same time-slot, it has been announced.
Hatton Garden depicts the audacious jewellery and cash burglary at the heart of London’s diamond district executed by an elderly gang of career criminals across the Easter Bank Holiday weekend in April 2015. It
The four-part drama tells the inside story of how the men pulled off the heist which was considered in a class of its own in terms of scale and ambition, and the extraordinary level of planning, preparation and organisation required to penetrate the vault of the Hatton Garden Safety Deposit Company. It was penned by Paul Whittington and Terry Winsor and stars Timothy Spall, Kenneth Cranham, David Hayman, Alex Norton and Brian F.O’Byrne. ITV Studios is producing, with Jeff Pope and Terry Winsor serving as the executive producers. It was originally scheduled to air in late 2017, before ITV pulled it for legal reasons.
