Netflix UK’s comedy series Dead To Me will premiere on on Friday May 3rd, it has been announced.
Dead To Me follows Jen, a sardonic widow determined to solve her husband’s recent hit-and-run murder, and Judy, an optimistic free spirit who’s recently suffered her own tragic loss. When the two women meet at a support group, they become unlikely friends despite their polar-opposite personalities.
But as they bond over bottles of wine, Entenmann’s cookies and a shared affinity for The Facts of Life, Judy desperately tries to shield Jen from a shocking secret that could destroy her life as she knows it. The ten episode comedy series, which was created by Liz Feldman (2 Broke Girls, One Big Happy), is produced by CBS Television Studios and stars stars Christina Applegate as Jen, Linda Cardellini as Judy, James Marsden as Steve, Ed Asner as Abe and Brandon Scott as Nick. Series creator Liz Feldman is the showrunner and she also serves as an executive producer alongside Jessica Elbaum, Christie Smith, Christina Applegate, Adam McKay and Will Ferrell.
