It's Official: 'Lucifer' Jumps To Netflix UK; Season 4 Premiere Set For May 8th – TVWise

Lucifer is jumping homes on this side of the pond. Netflix UK has picked up the rights to the fourth season and have announced that all ten episodes will be available to stream as of Wednesday May 8th.
There had been some question as to the UK home for the show’s fourth season. When Netflix stepped in to commission season four after Fox cancelled the series, it was not immediately clear if they would be clawing back international rights in various territories around the world or if the new season would only be a Netflix original in North America.
That was the case when Netflix saved Longmire. The streaming service only offered the seasons they commissioned in select territories as Warner Bros International Television Distribution had numerous existing deals for the show around the world. In the UK, the studio had licensed rights to TCM UK and 5USA, meaning Netflix UK were unable to stream the show. The UK rights to Lucifer were previously held by Amazon Prime Video UK and FOX UK. While Netflix has now taken SVOD rights, it is unclear if FOX UK will be able to license linear rights to season four down the line. It’s not immediately clear when the first three season of Lucifer will be available on Netflix UK.
