PBS America has acquired The Mueller Investigation, Frontline’s fast turnaround hour-long documentary about Trump’s war against the Special Counsel’s investigation into collusion and obstruction of justice. The documentary, which comes mere days after the Mueller report was submitted to the Attorney General of the United States, will premiere tomorrow (Friday March 29th) at 9pm.
The Mueller Investigation is the latest entry in PBS’ current affairs documentary strand Frontline and explores the history of the investigation led by former FBI Director Robert S. Mueller III. From Trump’s firing of FBI Director James Comey to his clash with Attorney General Jeff Sessions to his public attacks on what he labeled “a witch hunt,” the documentary traces how the President of the United States set himself on a collision course with the country’s top law enforcement officials.
The hour-long documentary features interviews with key players inside the White House and FBI and draws on Frontline’s extensive archive of the Trump presidency ro provides viewers with an inside look at the roots of a report that could forever change the Trump presidency. The Mueller Investigation is a Frontline production with Kirk Documentary Group, Ltd. Frontline veteran Michael Kirk is the producer and director, while Raney Aronson-Rath is the executive producer.
