Paramount Network is adding another comedy series to their line-up. The VIMN backed broadcaster has acquired the CBS family comedy Life In Pieces after striking a deal with international distributor Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution. The show’s first season will premiere later this month
Created by Justin Adler, Life In Pieces is a single camera comedy about one family told through the separate stories of its different family members. The comedy series is produced by 20th Century Fox Television and stars Dianne Wiest, James Brolin, Zoe Lister Jones, Colin Hanks, Angelique Cabral, Thomas Sadoski, Betsy Brandt, Dan Bakkedahl, Niall Cunningham, Holly J. Barrett and Giselle Eisenberg.
This marks the third UK deal that Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution has sealed for Life In Pieces. The studio previously licensed first window rights to Amazon Prime Video UK, who make episodes available to UK subscribers within 24 hours of their U.S. broadcast; and linear rights to Comedy Central UK, who have aired the show’s first two seasons. Amazon Prime Video UK retains first window rights and will air season four later this year.
