The second season of Fleabag will premiere on BBC Three on Monday March 4th from 10am. The first episode will then air later that same day on BBC One at 10:35pm.
Fleabag follows the titular character, a dry-witted, angry, cash-strapped, grief-riddled, porn-watching young woman trying to come to terms with a recent tragedy. As she hurls herself headlong at modern living, Fleabag is thrown roughly up against the walls of contemporary London. The comedy series, which was created by Phoebe Waller-Bridge, is produced by Two Brothers Pictures in association with DryWrite and stars Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Olivia Colman, Sian Clifford, Bill Paterson, Brett Gelman, Jenny Rainsford, Hugh Skinner, Hugh Dennis and Andrew Scott.
The show’s second season, which picks up a year after season one, see Fleabag meet a Priest (Andrew Scott) who jolts her into seeing the world in a different way. There are still old wounds to unpick and new ones to dress, as the next chapter of Fleabag’s life takes her to hell and back. Fleabag and Claire are brought together by an unexpected attack, and tensions rise as another side of her sister emerges. Further afield, Dad still can’t look Fleabag in the eye and Godmother slithers closer into the girls’ lives. Dame Kristin Scott Thomas and Fiona Shaw CBE guest stars.
