Cineflix Rights has inked deals with Brown Bob Productions and Windfall Films to acquire international distribution rights to a raft of factual content from both indies. The deals were brokered by Cineflix Rights Acquisitions Manager Catherine McCormick and recently appointed Head of Acquisitions Richard Life.
With this agreement, Cineflix Rights adds Inside The Operating Theater – the latest entry in Brown Bob’s ‘Inside The…’ franchise – to their catalogue. The series scored a twenty episode order from UKTV’s W channel last September. The franchise got started with Inside The Ambulance, and continued with Inside The Vets – both of which Cineflix Rights also represents internationally.
The package deal with Windfall Films covers a plethora of content including: How Things Work (10×60’ for Discovery Science Channel and France TV), Attack Of The Zeppelins (1×60’ for Channel 4, NOVA/WGBH, and National Geographic Channels International), Mystery Of The Northern Lights (1×60’ for Discovery Science and CBS), Building Hitler’s Supergun: The Plot to Destroy London (1×60’ for Channel 4, NOVA/WGBH, National Geographic UK, PBS, and SBS), Egypt’s Great Pyramid: The New Evidence (1×60’ for Channel 4), and Operation Lighthouse Rescue (1×60’ for PBS).
